The drowsy ocean
echoes down dim corridors -
it tells me of home
and of those others
sublimating their longing
long gone in the foam.

It has, to me, both the rhythm and ennui of the blues. And you support that with the suggestion of ocean sounds and that one rhyme. I really like the sound of "longing/long gone", too. It adds to the echo effect of those empty corridors. Really enjoyed the read demure. :-)
