She loved he as I love you
But I love you greater
Than she or any she
For there has never been
A love like this; like ours
And in so much as she loved
So intense and with such passion
I love you with that much more
How do I love thee?
I need not count the ways
For you know how I do
You know
So read of her and her love
Read it well and multiply
It by a billion; by infinity
And you might get a taste
Of how I love thee
Yes, I too love thee
With the “breath, smiles, tears
Of all my life…”
I too love thee like she
Loved but pity her
For she could never love
Like me.
