Isn’t it funny how life works out sometimes?
The little things that come to mind.
The simple things that I do see,
That make me think of thee.
A giant cloud of smoke,
Slowly drifting into the shape of a heart.
The sun peeking just behind the clouds,
Warming my face and arms.
A raven sitting just beside my car,
Cawing good morning, and letting me know you care.
The police pulling me over, not giving a ticket
Just letting me know I need to fix it.
Is that another one of your signs?
I need to slow down and survive?
At least it was nice enough not to get cited.
Knocking on wood is starting to hurt,
Four times are better than none, I heard.
Isn’t it funny how life works.
