The silence of death
Under a cold gray sky.
What happened here?
Where is the laughter? Where are the smiles?
What happened here?
Acrid, wispy, gray smoke rising from black craters.
Crimson blood flowing in streams.
Dark buildings erased.
Foul stench of rot and decay
Choking the life out of the air.
What happened here?
Silence echoes as he weeps silver tears.
