Just like we euthanize unwanted animals,
Why don't we euthanize our own homeless populations?
They overpopulate when left unchecked,
No one wants them.
They get in our way of normal life.
Just the same reasons we do this to animals.
Why are we so much better than them?
Why do we think that our strays are more significant than theirs?
It would really help out the human stray problem.
They breed in back alleys just as we do.
We only have one baby at a time,
Is that our reason for animal euthanasia?
Is our goal going to be to catch every animal on the planet,
That we might consider a pet,
And euthanize it just because there's not a place for it in our home?
Or classify it as a "wild animal"?
We decide to thin out a population because it is "overgrown",
Shouldn't someone think to thin the humans out?
Or get humans to start realizing that we are the problem,
Not the animals?
Just something to think about.
