"It's not you,,,It's me"

Knowledge, enlightenment,
wear a pricey tag.
Love? At what cost?
The orgasmic self
kept in the dark,
beneath a shroud of denial.
Passion slips,
disregarded,
left behind
for sex.

Long suppressed
used, diminished,
emptied,
tireless in exploration,
even through compromise,
I still search for
and occasionally partake of
the primal soup,
the nectar,
found in that most perfect creation,
the "flesh flower"
