My need is so strong that it must be obvious to all who see me.
I am sure when I cannot be sure.
My eyes are hot. My mouth is wet.
I am strong and ready to leap in any direction.
I see things clearly.
Suddenly the men on the streets are prey.
And I am a huntress.

I want to swim in the dark.
I want to stare into the flames.
I want to gaze at the stars.
I want a night without words.

I feel free of all encumbrances.
I can do anything.
I want to do everything.
Power fills me.

Let me taste another's mouth,
Let me grip another's hands in mine.
Let me feel the heat of another's body.
Let me feel the weight of a body heavier than mine.
To contend and lose.
To contend and win.
To make another cry out.

My need is so strong that it must be obvious to all who see me.
Suddenly the men on the streets are prey.
And I am a huntress.
