She was born; a little pink blessing
A first grandchild bestowed onto Me
Another miracle of God’s own hand
This beautiful and perfect sanctity

I held her first; a mighty bond between
As she entered this world to My own
Her first tooth; her first step; I witnessed all these
Many “firsts” of My “first” as she’s grown

She is so sweet and good natured; this grandchild
How could I ask for anything more?
Jordyn Noel; a pre-teen - just twelve years old
{Now going on forty four}

Her maturity and logic astound Me
She puts the rest of the family to shame
With actions and words that are sterling; no less
Who’s the responsible party to blame?

“My Grammy has taught me all that I know
And taught Mommy all that is best
Grammy can do no wrong! That’s right!
She is far above all of the rest!”

I hear these words from Jordyn’s young lips
And from her mom; My daughter’s own voice
It swells My heart; I am so proud!
This place of honor was HER choice

If I go through life a mere pauper
In dire straits and so very in need
I will only know true wealth and riches
For I was chosen to plant the seed

That began this life named Jordyn Noel
From the birth of My daughter before
The seeds; now limbs of a family tree
All branches of which I had bore

So I stand on this pedestal; a station so high
Where My granddaughter has reverently placed Me
I am worshipped; a Goddess amidst the heaven’s bright stars
Jordyn’s constellation; better known
as ... “Grammy”

This is dedicated to every Grammy, to- be Grammy, {as I will be again for the 13th time} and every Grammy-in-heart.
We are privileged to have this position in life. Know this.

Here's another fine piece from your pen I've somehow missed. A good piece to read as I keep expecting {or is that hoping?} to hear that my own first born is expecting. And now your own Jordyn should be at that nightmare age of 14, where a Goddesses influence can be so critical. Enjoyed this piece immensely.

Thank you

I feel that you wrote this just for me and my unspoilt-by-Nana little ones. Patricia

Bright Blessings

oh Divine One! You are a treasure to read. I love this tribute to her and to your station. My own Grandmother was a Goddess, too, and though she is gone, we worship her still! Thanks for this wonderful poem.

Your love and joy for Your family is contagious, MISTRESS Vixxx! May the rest of us be as blessed as You.

Thank you for sharing My joy with Me...

in reading My poem dedicated to anyone that has the honor of being called "Grammy". I was doubly honored on Easter Sunday when not only My poem hit the Lit boards that evening, but My newest granddaughter {Jordyn's sister} was born just hours before!

Many thanks for the wonderful feedback and comments so many of you have placed on this poem. Although I have put a great deal of Me into all of My previous stories and poems, something much more went into this piece - My heart.

I have been truly blessed with a wonderful family I call My own - and another family here on Literotica.

Know this.
