Who am I?

I am he who towers too high, too tall to fall
How dare you question me? I who rule above all?

Who am I you say?

I am he made king, by the skills that I've honed
Live high in the sky, on a tower of charred bone
I Sup on blood every dreary day
Red necter to keep death at bay
but imortality I have, in statues of steel
Built in the lands, I've broughten to heel

Who am I?

I build the guns and the planes,
to bind foregn peopels in mighty chains
Yet my guns sing of glory, of pomp and of praise
They sing ratta-tat-tat for days and days

Who am I?

I never give warning, on a whim, countrysides I raze
Leave towns empty, relatives in shock, awed and in a daze

Who am I?

I lead by example, my silent marjoity in my wake
They follw me blind to the the saddness, the distater i make
all the see is gold and glory, gameplay and jewels
eyes shut, they've become my tools
An army of the deaf and dumb
who's silence rattles; leaves you cold, numb

i offer them gold, so they'll never be sorry
urge them to kill and be killed, before they get hoary
But I, myself, I shall never die
I beat in everyman's heart, even yours, though you deny

Who am I?

I am your last resort, and your best.
Your restraint, your morals, I will not test.
excepting me, you shall neither bow nor bend,
I'm the uncompromising method, means to any end

I live in the Bushs, the Allens, and the your neighbors, the Reeves
Yes, the ones who make bombs, and shoot at imaginary theives
I'm saddistic and sagagious, and wish for release

My motives are those of the midnight dark
I have stripes of a tiger, and eyes of a shark
I'm say I'm an arrow of justice, yet always miss my mark

I am rotten, from surface to the core.
Essensce of everything you should abhor,
Who am I?
You know me.
Sweetie, I am war.

a poet's job

is to handle even the tough subjects. Thankyou.

I think you could have been more effective using a different technique or two, but you have a strong poem ...

in spite of anything not to my own personal tastes. If you'd like to see my suggestions, feel free to contact me.
