you made to leave,
i wanted to scream,
i bit my tongue instead,
my silent tears,
unspoken fears,
and you didn't see how i bled,
i heard your words,
oh how i heard
every word you said,
when you were done,
i was just one,
and everything was dead,
i could have cried,
i let us die,
i bit my tongue instead,
its no wonder
i'm going under,
despondent in our bed,
every candle flame
cries out your name,
in painful orange and red,
no more you,
nothing left to do,
i bit my tongue instead.
