He messed with my mind and then walked away,

Letting me fill in the blanks with false hopes.

Who's to blame for my dented heart?

Him, with his smooth words and cocky grin,

Me, the closet romantic looking for a connection?

Maybe it's both, but mostly I blame him.

I'm tellin ya for a fact, pardner

it's always the other person's fault. There is no such thing as personal responsibility. Didn't you get the memo? Says so on line three, and I quote, "Failed romance is never your fault."

Now I'll quit cutting up. If this is true, go find the right one. He's out there lurking somewhere and will show when you least expect it, but hopefully not when your takin a poo.
