I walked away, I hid my heart,
I tried to move along
But every time I hurt,
I came back to you for more

I came back to you in body,
I came back to ease my pain.
But all you had to give me
was your ultimate disdain.

You never truly loved me
for you never learned how.
But still I wanted to save you
to believe you somehow.

I stopped coming to you in body,
but I came to you in mind.
My heart crying for you,
for he who called me "mine."

I miss those happy moments
those days of blissful peace.
But for those hours of delights
another can give me release.

I no longer come to you in body,
I no longer come to you in mind.
I feel sorry for your pain,
for you know not what you've been denied.
