"I Can Dream Too..."

I look at you and dream
...such dreams

the tastes of tomorrows
the whispers of wishes
moments not yet begun
and memories yet to be held

I can almost -
so almost it hurts...
touch
...you

with fingertips that soooo know
exactly where they want to be
exactly where you need them ...to be
  exactly where dreams fall short
of realities that so breathe inside
each "me" that we are, were, and will
    be.

I see each breath
pause
motion, movement
glance, blink, ...smile
...gaze.

Hear each tone,
growl, wisp, tinkling
wonder-full-warble
soul-full-touched-echoing
so-softly-enwrapped
come-hither-don't-dare
stay-back away-come-go
just please, so very please
  be near.

...seems even such as I
can dream...

of such as you.

Chris
