I Come

byScottishChieftan©

I ride the night wind.

I know you have surely noticed by now, that often you can see my face reflected in stormy clouds; illuminated in flashes of lightening. The angrier the storm seems, the more often you can see my face lit up in the iridescent glow of the clouds when fingers of lightening make them glow hues of purple and pink.

I come with the clap of thunder. Death, terror and mayhem come with me; but so do ecstasy and pleasure. I bring many things; some are gifts, while others are curses.

Think of me when a storm blows in. Remember my face in the clouds. When you taste raindrops on your tongue, let it remind you of your blood on MY tongue. Look for me with each flash of lightening. Shiver with each clap of thunder and wonder if I am coming for you.

When you feel the trickle of rainwater running over your skin, remember that your blood can flow in just such a manner—with the sweet sting of my eternal kiss.

When the wind moans, know that I am calling your name, hear my mournful voice echoing your name.

From me, there is nowhere to hide. From my piercing teeth there is no reprieve. From my probing mind you can find no sanctuary. From my eternal kiss, you will find no shelter. From me, my pet, you can not escape.

In the echoing boom of thunder hear my voice and my command.

Feel the hair stand up on your neck with each flash of lightening for the following clap of thunder may bring me with it and with me, my eternal kiss.

Na’er forget, little one. I come with the clap of thunder.
