i come in peace

please don't condemn me, i come in peace
i only want for the anger, and the hate to cease
i don't come to change, nor judge your acts
i only come to tell you, the plain pure facts
i don't know all of the answers, this i must admit
but that is no reason, for me to just quit
see i believe in the savior, i know that he lives
i know i do wrong, but that yes he forgives
i once was lost, drowning in sin
in a battle for life, i just couldn't win
this world is so cruel, and i couldn't see why
i was so full of loneliness, that i wanted to die
then he came into my life, and i started to revive
he gave me his love, and i knew i was alive
he gives me peace, that i could never find
he gives me joy, and my peace of mind
please don't be afraid, i am on your side
we need to unite, and swallow our pride
there is a burning hell, and it shall consume
so do not be deceived, by the intriguing fume
i know it's not always easy, to always obey
but if we do he promises, to comfort us in every way
Jesus said this would happen, some wont agree
if they didn't believe him, they wont believe me
i will not stop, i will not turn away
I'll just ask for strength, and live another day
i mean no pressure, it is your choice
you may choose to neglect him, but you'll never rejoice
it is not his fault, our world is this way
we are to blame, because we do not obey
we can't see the reason, so we choose to doubt
why don't we just accept him, not figure him out
after all, isn't that what faith, is all about
