I cycled hard
Under the lakeshore bridge
The scream of hundreds of starlings
The voluminous clouds dark to west
As I turned back.

Oh the cold and bitter winter
Only a wisp away, and a cloud shadowed
In the autumn air
As I turned back,
It was your image in the fading sunlight
And I remembered your heat.

Bundled up in oh so bright colors
The breeze bounced off my cheeks
And I began to feel alive
As I turned back, your spirit
Wrapped it's warm nuzzling aura around
Burrowing down to my heart.

I cycled on
Past the lakeshore bridge
The scream of hundreds of starlings
Reminded me of shared screams
of the erotic we continue
to share..........
