I DON'T WANT TO DIE YOUNG

I  don't want to die young,

Although sometimes I think I will.

I try though

God knows I try.

I try to live right. I try to eat all of my vegetables.

Sometimes though I don't think it'll work.

I keep thinking the Grim Reaper is just around the corner.

Smoking a cigarette and drinking a cup of coffee before he has to come and take me away.

So I try to do as I please,

I try to live for the moment because after all is said and done you can't live anyway else.

You can read all of the self-help books but in the end that's just silly.

When they come to get you they will come.

Don't try stopping them because it's no use.

Don't try stopping them because when the last cigarette is smoked and the woman closes her legs one last time the jig is up.

The lights go black and the curtain falls.

Say good night Gracie.

Say good night and farewell.
