I dream of you

I could almost feel his breath upon my face
His syrup filled lips as his kisses I taste
Shivers down my spine, fingers through my hair
The whisper of his voice serenades my ear

In bed I lie fully awake, yet still I dream
Of his hazel colored eyes staring up at me
Eyes bright, flanked by perfectly shaped brows
Even in the darkness I see clearly he's aroused

Trying to get the pillows in their rightful place
I feel the cool breeze seductively kiss my face
I see him as I close my eyes tight
Needing him with me I turn from side to side

Finally I doze as thoughts of him remain
Thoughts of long strong fingers, a masculine chin
Copper sunset hair curled thickly upon his head
Tingled my sensitive parts as I lie alone in bed

His heart-quickening smile warmed me inside
It opened me up to feelings I could not hide
I closed my eyes and remembered our last night
The things we said, our kisses under the moon light

Unconciously I traced his frame with my finger tips
His every word touched my heart as it left his lips
"No matter the horror I go through each day here,

I looked up at him, this giant of a man
So sweet, so handsome, so gently he held my hand
He asked what I wanted, I could not lie
He asked it again, I did not reply

The words stood right on the tip of my tongue
Me saying it to him would not be so wrong
Then without fear I opened up, I let it out
I told him all I'd been thinking about

I never thought I'd miss you this much
Your smile, your smell, your touch
I never thought your voice I'd miss
And long and lust to feel your kiss

The way you played with my hair
And whisper to me how much you care
When we lay together, I'd feel ur hand
Make circles where ever ur fingers land

I woke as the sunlight consumed the dark space
