I am definitely not a poet and I would never claim to be, but this is just how I felt right now so I wanted to write it down. Maybe someone else will be able to relate to it as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel so alone.
My heart aches
But it’s not broken
It’s empty.
Or maybe it’s actually full
Too full
Filled with unrequited love
That no one seems to want.
I try so hard
But it never seems to be good enough
Or maybe it’s just me
Maybe I’m just not good enough.
I don’t know what it is
Or what’s wrong with me
But my heart will remain available
For whoever wants it.
Love is all I want
To love someone
And be loved in return
I want YOU.
Wherever you are
Whoever you are…
I feel so alone.
