I feel you there
Against my flesh
Your cool sharp edge
That kills the rest

The pain that haunts
Is deep inside
Feeling like a badge
That glows outside

The pain you've caused
You'll never know
It's simply the scars
And cuts that show

Wounds of the flesh
For which you judge
Are barely a pin prick
Of what you've done

So now I go
To walk alone
And hope the dark
Hides what only I know
