Love: 13 up, 22 down
Not finding the perfect person, but finding the person you see perfectly.

I think it's love, baby.

Love: 12 up, 55 down
love is a shit dat wont make u happy, only sad. countless times has it broken my heart and im only 11. if love is returned, u will be happy. if its not returned, well, your screwed

shit man, i wont ever get married

love is cruel; my gf wont love me. she practically hates me now

Love: 891 up, 405 down
Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offence. Love keeps no score of wrongs; does not gloat over another's sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is not limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.

1 Corinthians 13

Love: 11 up, 48 down
a way to get free sex (some idiots forget to wear condoms)

I love you slut/ whore/ prostitute/ bitch/ pregnant dog!

Love: 16 up, 16 down
Often confused with infatuation by adolescents, college students, and even supposedly mature people. Love is not the often associated chemical reaction which has similar effects on the brain as cocaine, nor is it the inability to be without that person for a day.

-OMG! I'm sooo in love with Brad Pitt!!
-No you're not. You just want his small wang. You don't even know him!
-*Cries* No, I will marry him! I'm going to go home and fantasize about him! *Cries and runs away*

Love: 83 up, 34 down
1. that akward feeling in what feels like your stomach (affects how you feel and think) which causes you to do/say really stupid things
2. the reason people kill themselves
3. the reason people live

You can't imagine how powerful love is.
Love is what drives you. . . . . . off a very high cliff.

Love: 316 up, 242 down
The Encyclopedia Brittanica defines love as something too complicated to define. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has this to say about love: avoid if at all possible.

Love hurts.
I would do anything for love

Love: 20 up, 3 down
Oh, man...
Love is an amazing feeling that almost makes your heart burst with this overwhelming passion for someone. It feels so good when you're with them, and if they leave you, love suddenly becomes so painful, because love doesn't really end. When you love someone, it doesn't matter if they leave you or hurt you; you still think about them, and you can't stop, no matter how hard you try. Also, love has to do with God. He can help you out with the sad, painful part of love. If you find love, don't let it get away. Chase it with all your might.

I think about her all the time and can't help myself...that's part of love.

Love: 11 up, 39 down
love equals penis and vagina

what is love? love is penis and vagina

Love: 75 up, 29 down
to give everything you have...and not expect anything in return

Love is an inexplicable feeling

Love: 6 up, 19 down
aka sexual intercourse

"i love her"
"you mean you had sexual intercourse with her??"
"oh yeah sorry that's what i meant to say"

Love: 673 up, 320 down
Lust is the desire for their body; love is the desire for their soul.

That is all I have to say.

Love: 34 up, 16 down
L… is for the way you look at meeeee
O… is for the only one I seeee
V… very very, extra-ordinary,
E… is even more than anyone could adore, and LOVE is all that I can give to youuuuuuuuuu. LOVE, is more than just a thing or twoooooooooo OOOOh.

If love can make it - take my heart but please don't break it - LOVE, is made for me and youuuuuuuuuuuu........

Love: 47 up, 11 down
1. God’s gift, and Satan’s scourge.
2. The final result of the natural chemical blending of unrelated feelings that one holds toward another, which, once synthesized, create an emotion that is independent of the confines of time or the elements of this existence. Though the vitality of that said emotion inevitably weakens and falters, never does it truly filter.
3. A contradiction, a conundrum cloaked in ambiguity.
4. A pleasant thought in a world filled with terrible ideals.
5. A quagmire of depression from which none can immerge unscathed.
6. A force of nature which, like any other natural phenomenon, cannot be civilized, contained or contended. A force which cannot be controlled, avoided, destroyed or escaped and often results in extreme destruction.
7. A terminal illness; much like cancer in its nature. It starts at the heart, spreads to the soul, before inevitably polluting the mind. To date, the medical community remains baffled as to discovering an effective treatment for this potentially fatal malady, much less a cure. Demographically speaking, the young and the foolish are counted among the most susceptible to contract this disease; and the destitute romantics are considered to be exceptionably vulnerable.
8. A vast unknown frontier of thoughts and feelings, which only the most fortunate ever have the opportunity to explore.
9. A resilient, false hope eating parasite, which adopts the human heart as its host.

"There is no disguise which can for long conceal love where it exists or simulate it where it does not."

Love: 938 up, 443 down
A flawed definition for an emotion which modern society has perverted through practicality. Practicality is reserved for a practical world and in a practical world, things like love would not exist.

No, “love” is rather a definition for the dictionary of one’s heart, not Webster’s.

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life:

That word is love.

-Sophocles

I'm with.........

..............The Broz, I stayed to the end. This took a lot of effort to create and it is worth reading through. Different approach but is it poetry? I've come to look for Hippokrene's work now, it's never the same and usually fascinating.

~~

It's 6 a.m. and I still can't believe I read the whole thing! Morbid fascination perhaps? Most long pieces I find here fail to hold my interest - too many words while saying very little. Yours, on the other hand, is like a montage ~ you've done this in an interesting style and managed to hold me through the end.

More like a dictionary

Could have been best in a writing class. For me it was more of a draft for many ideas to put into the drawer and let simmer until you are ready to build some thing with each case....
