I know I was not to fall
in love with you
but I did and now I want to
give you my all
we did cross that line
and before that everything was fine
but we both needed that love
that night at the lake
we both gave and we had to take
it felt to right
then and there that night
and now I cant help but think sometimes
why you say we can not be together
you know how much

and your gentle touch
I promise you I will be your only one
I will love you till my time
here on earth is done
even when my heart beats that last time
you will see my love did last
it was not something that would be gone
like some others in your past
