I have loved a great many women, but I have pursued far fewer. My heart is easily won over by their charm, wit and grace. If I had dated all the women I have loved, I would be quite the ladies man.

I have adored many women from a distance, keeping my desires to myself. Yet I am too shy and afraid to reveal my true affections. Constantly quelling my quiet desire to openly pursue them. Always I find a good reason not to.

I have pursued but a small number of women. I have risked pain, rejection and scorn, in the hopes to find love each time. Each time, I have fully understood why they don’t or can’t share my desire. Each time I pick myself up and go on.

I have shared a tender moment or two with a finite number of women. Even I have not been without a tender moment or two in my lifetime. Each moment I will treasure always, as I will treasure the women I shared them with.

I have loved a great many women, adored them from a distance, pursued a small number of them, shared a tender moment with a few of them and even been loved by one or two. Somehow I never get the timing right.

I still love women, all women. It may seem odd but it’s true. When I look at a woman, I see how and why she is beautiful. I see the tender and good in her rather than what she paints to the world. I love them, all of them, always.
