I keep praying,
That one day I’ll touch more than your body.
That somehow I’ll touch your heart,
The way you’ve touched mine.

I keep praying,
That one day you’ll realize I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to you,
And that you’ll truly see what an amazing
And dynamite lady I am.

I keep praying,
That one day I won’t be last on your list,
An afterthought in your mind,
When your libido needs to be stirred.

I keep praying,
That one day I won’t have to keep this secret buried,
Of how I really feel about you,
And I’ll be able to tell you to your face.

I keep praying,
That one day you’ll look at me
And see the woman who loves you most,
And who will always put you first.

I keep praying,
On my knees, by my bed,
Tears running down my face,
That one day, you’ll love me unconditionally….

As I do you.
