warm raindrops on my skin
make me want to dance,
the lion’s command
and the stretch of ageless mountains
can reach me where I stand.
I know home.
I know
the shattering of time
caused by the meeting of souls
can’t be stopped or controlled,
an inhalation so sublime
continually makes me whole.
I know joy.
I know
the promise in your eyes
is a silence I believe,
your bites and kisses I need
As proof of sighs, aches and desires.

will surrender
forever.

Tears drip from my lashes

And I know passion
Thank you for the poem of heart

As my eyes close and dream

With not a warm body pressed close at night
