I Learned

Been there and done that
It all went splat
Like a tire that's gone flat

Should have seen through
To the real you
But I just wouldn't see that

Everything is clearer now
And I can see how
You played me for a fool

The fog has lifted
All the haze has drifted
And I've gone back to school

I'm learning to care
To recognize what is really there
I've learned alot from what we had

Somethings weren't right with you
Especially the stuff you put me through
But it wasn't all bad
