It’s night.
I lie awake
thinking of your face.

Your eyes
exploring mine

Your smile
so warm and kind

Your lips on mine
sweetness defined

Your fingertips linger on my neck
as shivers run down my spine

My nipples harden
at the brush of your hand

Throbbing wetness
between my thighs

My knees buckle
as you caress me there

Path of kisses
down, down, down

Licking gently -
I close my eyes…

It’s morning.
I lie awake
thinking of your face.

Nice enough but

it's been done so often. Maybe I'm feeling a bit jaded but to do this kind of poem and grab the attention it needs something more.
