I Long For The Day

Introduction: I wrote this as a fictional but possible story to a special someone in my life. Although we may never meet, she has taught me to understand that "good things come to those who wait". I will wait for my love and dream about her every day. I will hold this poem dear to my heart, for this is as close as I can imagine being with her. In closing, I hope she enjoys it. This is the type of emotions that run through me just talking or chatting with her. Could she be a soul mate? Well, we have crossed paths for some reason and I will not cross that one out. I believe in fate and destiny. Maybe someone has something bigger and better for us in store. So I dedicate this poem to my love, in hopes her feelings still remain the same for me.

I LONG FOR THE DAY

I long for the day that we finally meet
Will we stand there and stare, or meet and greet?
My emotions will overcome my thoughts
Of the life we missed and the time we lost.
Give me a minute to try to say
Of what I think will happen, for I long for the day.

I will get off the bus or plane that I take
My heart steadily pounding for this wondrous date
I have always wondered what next awaits us,
And now I am looking at this beautiful city, El Paso Texas

I will check into a local hotel
In hopes that this rendezvous does not fail
Then I will pull out my trusty laptop,
As I take in a meal and some soda pop.
I will log into my yahoo account,
For this is where our love was found.

As I wait patiently for the page to load,
The trip has put me into almost sleep mode.
Then I notice your screen name lights up so bright

I have awakened completely just knowing you're there
You send a friendly "hi" and my heart starts to flare
I ask you what you are doing today
You say you are working but we can chat away

I dig for some info from you in that time
You don't know the intentions of mine
When you tell me where you are located at
I pop up another screen while we still chat
I look at the local map in detail
For this is why this trip must not fail
I find your location is just a couple miles
I tell you I have to get off for a little while.

You tell me you don't want me to
I say there is something that I must do
You blow me a kiss through those emoticons
This tells me that our love is still strong
I close my laptop and head outside
I head for your place of work with a smile real wide

I walk into the grocery store
Hoping that you didn't work next to that front door
As I slide in like a regular customer at will
I wander the store looking for a cell phone deal.
I round the corner and there you are
So elegant, so beautiful like a bright shining star
I watch you as you smile so sweet
I stay by the corner to remain discreet
I watch you for what seems like hours
And then I go back to buy you some flowers.

I walk to your booth with the flowers in front
So my face can't be seen, so you don't run
When I lower the flowers and say hello
Not looking at me, you answer back so mellow
When you look up, you seem suddenly frightened
And then the joy overcomes us, and we are both enlightened

I ask if we can get away
From your place of business, just for today
We walk out separately, so no one sees us
In the past we've had no one to please us.
As we get out of sight, we take a trip
To the other side of town, to get us a nip
I wine you and dine you and tell you the things
That I can do for you, this is what real love brings
We head back to my room, for some alone time
You seem to be in higher spirits, it must be the wine

We enter the room and close the door
And I turn to the face in which I adore
I place my hands on your soft gentle cheeks
And stare into your eyes, this is making me weak
I pull you close to comfort you
You take it in not knowing what to do
I know the fear you are feeling right now
I had to share my feelings; this is the only way I knew how
As I hold you close, I put on some soft sounds
And we start to sway for the love that's been found

I reach down and gently take your chin
I tilt your head up, and the chills start to send
Down my back and up my neck
I wonder where they will hit me next
I look back into your big brown eyes
I see the hurt and the pain that lies
I slowly ease towards your lips
Just barely touching them, right across the tips
I look at you and wait your approval
And then I take your mouth and tongue and all
We kiss passionately for what seems like hours
But it's your body that I want to devour

I slowly ease you onto the king size bed
And watch your hair spray away from around your head
I lay down slowly at you side
I have to take my time, at your abide
I kiss you again, and you join in so graceful
I slide my tongue in, you are so tasteful
Our tongues dance as if they are making love
Our hands start to wander and then start to rub
My hands are all over your sides and your back
My lips leave your mouth and to your ears they make a track

I nibble at your lobes, they are so soft
My tongue flicks across them, I want to bite them off
I roll onto my back and pull you on top
I look back at you, incase you want me to stop
My hands are resting firmly on your hips,
And my mouth once again finds your lips
My hands slide underneath your shirt
And rub your bare back, to soften the hurt
I take the initiative and pull your shirt up
And notice the beauty, behind the bra cups
My hands can't take it, they must cop a feel
When I reach up to grab them, you almost squeal
I reach around and unclasp your bra
For it was pretty, but I want them all
I lean up and take a nipple in my mouth
I suck it, and nibble it and flick it about

My hands squeeze your breasts so soft and delicate
I pull each one to me, now I need it.
I pull you close again and we roll over
