I want to scream it from the mountaintops.
I want to take your face into my hands
and murmur it against your mouth.
I want to whisper it into you ear
each and every time we talk.
I think it so loud, feel it so strong,
that I'm surprised you can't feel it, too.
But I keep it here
locked inside.
Because I know when I do say it

there will be no taking it back.
And there will be no hiding
from the emotions dancing across your face
when you hear me say, "I love you".
