Glimmer of hope, on an overcast day.
Ray of sunshine, come out to play.
I look for you, to make me well.
So sad and lonely, only you can tell.

You bring to me, such happy thoughts and hope.
Tears me away from depression, where I mope.
You make me laugh, so hard, at times...
Joy and Pleasure, delirious binds.

You shelter me from the storm within.
Free of Pain, Free of sin.
You are my port, when the stars don't shine.
I have your heart, and you have mine.

Contemplate life, while sitting on the beach.
Some life lessons you learn, I teach.
We change roles, we laugh, we cry.
Sitting together, alone, and sigh.

I miss you terribly, and now you're gone.
Only a few short years, and you've passed on.
I have not had enough time with you.
I fight the anger I hold so true.

I fight the battle every single day.
To keep the fear, and loneliness away.
I want you back in my life once more.
To love you again, to let you know I adore.

I visit your grave, I get so sad.
Knowing its my fault, my judgement bad.
If I only.. runs through my mind.
Constant reminder, of my bind.

You left me here to carry on with trend.
On a daily basis, your widowed friend.
I will never forget you, I want you to know.
What a performance, what a show.

very moving

and very sad, the loss

of a loved one is almost

impossible to recover from.

A lovely tribute,

thanks.
