~I Miss You~
We spend our days together
Share our hopes and dreams
I tell you my every wish
My longing for days better
You show me how it feels
To be given pure love
Pure emotion and heart
Something so real
I tell you my every desire
I bare to you my soul
And always you try
To make my spirit soar higher
You teach me how to live
A life I never knew
Something I always wanted
But only you could give
Now you are gone
I don’t know where to turn
My love taken from me
You were my only one
All I have left here
To remind me of you
Are a handful of pictures
Memories and fear
Fear that now without
You by my side
I’ll become who I was
Full of self doubt
A lost little girl
Locked in her room
Too scared to go out
Afraid of the world
You lent me your courage
To have confidence in myself
To believe I can do anything
When others would discourage
So now I just hide
Away from them all
God how I wish
I could be by your side
Without you here
My life is a wreck
I miss you so much
My best friend
My sister
My lover
