I knew before hand it wasn't gonna work,
I'm just too much of a nice guy and apparently a jerk,
Time after time and just more hurt,
I'm still that diamond in the dirt.
I thought we was gonna be a couple,
Just like the rest, you only caused me trouble,
Excuse after excuse,
The words you said was my noose,
It took a week for me to get my closure,
I knew we was over,
I just wanted to know why,
I shoulda known better,
I just wanted to give us another try.
I always give it my all,
In the end I fall,
Another day in my cell,
Life is constantly hell,
I'm still hollow in my shell,
I'm not gonna sit and dwell,
I came close but didn't cry,
Oh well, we're over...bye.
I'm not gonna lie, I still think of you,
