I only wish I had known...
someday
I'd stand here all alone.
I thought together
we'd always be.
Me by you...you by me.
A couple, a duet, a pair..
we would be a team.
But life, often, isn't fair..
up in smoke goes the dream.
But that's okay,
I'll move on..
to love another day.
For each of us
there's someone...
or so that's what they say.
I'm sure someday
I will find,
that someone out there,
meant to be mine.

what will I do?
