I picture you walking through the forest to the creek,
pausing now and again to wipe to mist from your cheek.
Moisture in the air from the falls nearby,
an eagle overhead, screeches it's cry.

A doe looks up, protectful of it's fawn,
determines that you are not a threat to her this dawn.
For you are like a wisp on the trail.
gliding softly through the woods light pale.

I picture you coming to the water's edge,
kneeling down on a rocky ledge.
For a sip of the cold clear creek,
the look in your eyes of something you seek.

I know not, of what it could be,
I can only hope, you see,
that when I picture you in the woods,
you are coming to find me.

For that is where I want to be,
if I can't be with you.
Reveling in natures beauty,
a poor substitute, it's true.

So, I picture you, in most every thing
that I can think of,
But most of all, I picture you,
As someone that I Love.
