Forever and Always
That's what he asked me
Down on one knee
If you'll have me
Forever and Always
I want to be by your side
If you'll do me the honour of being my bride
Forever and Always
Between us--let's get rid of all strife
Honey--won't you please be my wife?
Snow--lots and lots of snow and very, very cold
And tall, tall trees--hundreds of years old
Our honeymoon
Nightly walks in the light of the moon
Serene--a very beautiful and rustic sight
Is this crisp Canadian night
Running up the stairs--telling you--"Catch me if you can--I dare you!"
And you overtaking me--leading me by the hand to our room--to the bed
Doing what the newly wed do
When I look into your eyes--for me--I see love and desire
As we share our dreams of the future--and we kiss
You undress me and we finally become husband and wife
As we make love in front of the roaring fire
Our honeymoon
Spent making love with you morning, noon and each and every night
Forever and Always
That's what I promise you
So help me God--I'll always be true
Because I love you--and only you
If I could--I'd erase all the lost years between us
But I can't--because I'm not Jesus
"Past is past--I am a confused human being--trying to understand many things!"
But there's one thing I understand and know for sure--as long as I have breath--
I want you to wear my ring
Forever and Always!
