Non-Erotic PoetryI saw him todayI saw him today and the world came alive
Words began to fill every ounce of my being
The sound of the sand trickling in streams
as my feet plodded forward
The colors more brilliant
My senses on fire
I stayed one step behind
daring to let my feet fall in the tracks he left
feeling his gait
breathing his essence
only for a moment, lest I give myself away
Then just as quickly
he faded away into the crowd
but I know he was there
I saw him today
