As the day went by,
I had a tear come to my eye,
A smile came to my face,
I imagined a far off place,
My heart skipped a beat,
A dance came to my feet,
I began to feel love,
I looked to the sky above,
I whispered your name,
I wonder if you do the same,
I felt arms hold me tight,
In the beauty of the moonlight,
I felt a kiss upon my lips,
I felt a hand upon my hips,
A feeling came across so sweet,
A rose appeared, so gentle so neat,
The color so pink and pure,
The smell a gentle lure,
The petals glide across my skin,
The feeling of sweet, sweet sin,
I thought of you

~~

A nice sweet romantic piece that, unfortunately, feels so much like a collection of one-liners.
