i would have been in vietnam right now
if i dealt with you for a few months longer
or maybe
maybe i would have gotten punched so hard that
you finally would have knocked me out
just like you said
you never hit me hard enough
or maybe i would have been thrown down the stairs
and i would have never went to vietnam
cause i'd have broken my neck
from the fall
down a flight of stairs
