I will go on Baby, without you, alone,
But I will go on.
My heart will hurt Baby, needing you , wanting you,
But you told me, Time will heal.
I may have lost your love Baby, your touch, your care,
But you lost me too.
I will survive Baby, through tears, with pain,
But I will find myself.
I will touch again Baby, not you, not love,
But I will feel tenderness.
I will see the Sun again Baby, bright, warm,
But it won’t be in your eyes.
I will feel the heat upon my skin Baby, scorching, hot,
But it won’t be from your touch.
I will smell passion again Baby, sweet, musky,
But it won’t be on your skin.
I will taste delight again Baby, man, need,
But it won’t be your taste upon my lips.
I will hear desire again Baby, deep, sensual,
But it won’t be your voice in my ear.
I will be kissed again Baby, wet, warm,
But it won’t be your lips upon mine.
I will give myself again Baby, never my heart, never love,
But I will feel passions touch.
I will protect myself Baby, lesson learned, heart torn,
But I will find my way.
I will sail again Baby, with tide, with time,
But I will sail alone.
I will go on Baby, without you, alone,
But I will go on.
