I wish that I could hold you, to feel your body so close to mine.
I wish that I could kiss your sweet lips, to taste their sweetness.
I wish I could hear you laugh, to see the joy upon your face.
I wish I could see you smile, to see your face brighten and wonder what your thinking.
I wish I could be with you when your angry or sad, so I could comfort and cheer you up, or at least try.
I wish I hadn't hurt you, to make you doubt me.
I wish I could take it back, so we could be as we were.
But most of all,
I wish we could get through this, so we can be stronger than we were.
I know we will, because I love you.
