It was cold outside…
As I waited for you…
In the ice cream parlor…
My order for two…

It was then that I …
Began to daydream…
Of a hot summer day…
You and ice cream…

You brought all the fixings…
With a gleam in your eyes…
And promised to make me…
A glorious surprise…

You peeled the banana…
With long slow strokes…
Then smiled at me as …
With ice cream you soaked…

Not one flavor…
You said with glee…
It would not be right …
Without three…

Next came the chocolate…
So syrupy and smooth…
Making my mouth water…
As I watched you…

But it still needed something…
To make it complete…
Whip cream was the topper…
For our treat…

And with my legs spread…
You began to eat…
From the delicatessen…
You created for thee…
