your eyes melt before my face
when we finish you explain
in a quiet certainty
that seeing me like that

makes you believe you
can do anything you want
with me

it's all different for some heartbeats then
you consider me
as the more-satisfied
and I consider you considering me

but for some heartbeats in a shared place...
and then the questioning:
who is happier?

the one who crafts the gift
or the one who sees
more throughout
than only materials?

and we...each being more
than either artisan
or beholder

we are the gift
we are materials sent
self-taught to craft
an invisible icon

which sends shivers
and a sweet blindness
briefly visible
