If I Could

If I could fly over the earth as a majestic bird on wings of love... I would never see a vista more stunning than the beauty of the one who holds my heart.

If I could roar as thunderous as a lion announcing his presence as for prey he prowls... I would shout out my desire to feast upon the bounty of her sensuality.

If I could sail the greatest ships of old across a thousand oceans vast and ranging... I would only have begun my voyage discovering her unequaled graces.

If I could soar with elation through mighty chasms deep and over towering mountains high... I would never reach the heights or depths comparable to her matchless love.

If I could sing songs of hallowed angels as fine as golden spun thread... I would tell of the joy and happiness she sets into echos through the grand halls of my soul.

If I could dance with skill the finest ballet, my feet as light as morning vapors... I would hope to dance into her heart and join with her in a lover's embrace.

If I could run fast enough to catch gleaming rainbows before they fade into sweet memories... I would never lose my grasp on passion's fleeting moments of mutual breathless satisfaction.

If I could romance her today and tomorrow the way sweet love sonnets whisper of the same... life would be sublime eternity, for today would seem unending and tomorrow always full of swelling expectation.

If I could only hold her a moment more and make love to her a moment longer... I would.

If I could again and again and over once more... I would.

If I could whisper the words she longs for... I would.

If I could win her heart forever... I will.
