If I could fly
really leave the ground
I would jump and leap
from town to town
Thru clear blue skies
and thru the clouds
Visiting everyday places
yet avoiding the crowds
To feel quiet energy
changing street to street
A stranger almost invisible
amist the hustling feet

To watch and wonder
who they are; where they go
An image in my mind
a story I'll not know

I'd float along the breezy shore
and wave to the amber grain
Hopping over mountain tops
Skipping across the plains
As I imagine
this trip without blunder
My heard breaks in
starting to wonder
Would you be
the one to say "HI"
To a stranger in your town
If I could fly
