I thought she’d be Asian
with wispy soft hair,
dreamy dark eyes,
and the firm, pouty lips
of a woman who’d sold herself
to luxury.

She was frosted blond
with finely set features
offset by a sharp chin,
slight upturned nose,
and curls that fell into her eyes
that looked a lot like mine.

I thought she’d be different
but she looked like me,
photographed with the same man
who’d complained she was conservative
and later asked how much it would run him
if I wasn’t.

An interesting look at how a guy wants the same type of package but wants it different somehow.

But, of course.

Your poem not only evokes much images but also much emotion.

I could almost see her by your description, which was enough and had it been more would have been too much.

...and she looked like you.

Yes, but, of course.
