They would applaud me
For going so far in life.
If only they could see me now...
They would congratulate me
For being my own person.
If only they could see me now...
They would give me support
Because I am the person they
always wanted me to be.
If only they could really see me now...
They would stand back in fear
of who I have become.
If only they could see me now...
