I’ll always look back,
On all the good times,
That we had together,
Before everything ended,

Seems like ages ago,
We used to walk hand in hand,
Did all the things that couples do,
So hard to believe it ended so suddenly,

So young, it seemed so unfair,
That you were snatched so
Cruelly from my loving arms,
I thought we’d have until
The end of the world,

We didn’t even get to say,
Goodbye that one last time,
I know that whatever happens,
(I’ll always look back),

This sorrow in my heart,
Is so hard to deal with,
I can’t outrun it,
It’s always going to be there,

Reminding me everyday that,
You were taken away,
(I’ll always look back),
Eventually I’ll stop crying,

I’ll still feel your eyes watching me,
But when I look for you,
I’ll be searching for,
The brightest star.
