Illusion

She tries and she tries
She comes when he needs her
She holds him, she comforts him
She laughs and giggles for him
She dances and performs for him
She teases and pleases for him

She tries and she tries
She is only there till the others come
To hold and comfort him
Whom he laughs and giggles with
Whom he dances and performs with
Whom he teases and pleases with.

She tries and tries
So she sets him free
She walks alone, yet staying near
Waiting for when he needs her again
Waiting for him to want her to smile with
Waiting for the day he will dance with her.

She tried, she cried,
She waited, she wished
She dreamt, but the illusion faded.
Still waiting, she slept.
