Your favorite song plays on the radio
You left your guitar here, and I'm still waiting
For you to come back and play it for me.
I can still smell your cologne
On the pilow, your side of the bed
It's no fun fighting for more blanket
When it's just me.

I miss staying up all night with you
Talking shit until 5 am
I miss your soft snore, that way
You hold me close and kiss my shoulder
Your stupid lame jokes which I laugh at
Because I love you
And I know that nothing under the sun is new
But it bewilders me how much I miss you

And I try to understand when you want
to spend some more time with her
She needs you, but can you see
That beneath each time I tell you to go
Go comfort her, c'mon its late
That I fucking need you too?

So now I wait for you,
like I have for the past six years
hoping that this time, you'll stay.

but not forgotten.

Love, no matter the flavor, makes everyone a little bit crazy.
