I'm trying so hard
I work
I study
I succeed and do well.
But every night, I am trapped in my own personal hell
That you created when you broke my heart
Seven months have passed
I am still on day two
Maybe five but still that isn't enough
I was enough
I did all I could to keep you happy
That fact should soothe the pain
It makes it all more sharp and unbearable
Falling out of love is impossible
Talking to you every week doesn't make it easier
But I still jump when you call
I reply immediately when you text
I feel as though my time may be next
To try and give you all of me again
In hopes that this time you see it worth something
Worth keeping and loving.

Anonymousabout 6 years agoMove forward, this person was just a speck in your life. Count yourself lucky that you did not have a child with this person. The pain will lesser over time. Blank his memory from your mind. Any gifts received from this person toss in the waste bin. Believe me this bum has already move on. When you get back in the dating game, be very selective and date three guys at the same time and removed them from your list and replaced as needed. Enjoy your life and do not allow any person especially a man to steal your time. Thank you Bain
